The book contains 26 plates prepared using a four-colour offset-printing process, and have been made individually on cream-coloured 250 gsm Rives Tradition board on a Dainippon Screen KF-124GL single-sheet proof press with Skinon Dong Yang inks.  Each plate measures 12" x 15" (300 x 380 mm), which includes typically a 2-4" (50-100 mm) border, and comes with a full-page associated commentary.

The book will contain 42 plates, which are coded on this website as SSL-001 through SSL-042 and comprise the complete snake study Folios 1 through 5.  These may be viewed in the Snake Studies pages.
